The compensation itself is solid.

Great health insurance and lifestyle stipend are amazing!

Review from Finance Dept

The Digital First approach to work flexibility

The stipend for technology and life

Review from Finance Dept

Sabbatical after 3 years of work

Review from Finance Dept

Strong cash comp and solid equity package

Review from Legal Dept

Salary and equity. I wish the 401k match was better.

Review from Finance Dept

Competitive pay and attractive equity options

Review from Operations Dept

Unlimited vacation is a nice perk. Our health benefits are better and cost less than I've had in the past. The opportunity for a sabbatical is also nice.

Review from HR Dept

Equity and flexible PTO where we are encouraged to take advantage of.

Review from HR Dept

Stocks/Equity are important at Drift

Review from HR Dept

Our Forma monthly stipend is super helpful

Review from HR Dept

Probably more equity would be nice.

Review from Legal Dept

flexible schedule and work from home

Review from Operations Dept

I am provided the skills necessary to excel at my job, and I feel more fulfilled in my work. I guess that's a fancy way of saying every paycheck feels well-earned. I am set up for success to keep moving forward.

Review from Marketing Dept

The benefits are excellent - they take very good care of us here.

Review from Customer Success Dept

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

STOCK OPTIONS! Let employees have stock options again. The 401k match is only $500 per year. There is pay inequity across teams with the same roles and levels of experience i.e. folks' with more work experience making less in the same role, making it seem like our work is inconsistently evaluated.

Review from Customer Success Dept

I really enjoy my role at Drift but believe a higher salary and more aggressive bonus structure would make my compensation closer to what I would be offered outside of the organization.

Review from Sales Dept

A pay increase. I have a Masters and was told I did excellent work, but yet I was not compensated during the review period.

Review from HR Dept

Overtime work isn't compensated for with benefits/pay

Review from Finance Dept

I know Drift says it pays a market rate, but it pays a lower market rate and given the performance expectations, I am paid at a lower rate than I could get at other companies. Generally, my compensation at Drift has always felt low and below market

Review from Legal Dept

I have brought more value to my team than most of my colleagues, yet did not receive a raise nor promotion during the last review cycle. We are already severely underpaid compared to industry standards and it does not seem like Drift is invested in retaining their employees.

Review from Customer Success Dept

took a pay cut to come to drift with there were bonus plans to work towards

Review from Operations Dept

Would love to know more about room for promotions

Review from Product Dept

Clearer path to more income and more involved manager

Review from Customer Support Dept

Compensation is significantly below market rate and that is a huge part of the reason why we are losing our most qualified people, which has a knock-on effect on other employees in terms of lost knowledge and increased workload. It's not sustainable but Drift doesn't seem to have any plan to fix it.

Review from Customer Support Dept

I make currently 30% under market for my role

Review from Engineering Dept

Better healthcare benefits, 401k matching and salary/bonus

Review from Marketing Dept

I believe that I am underpaid for the work I do

Review from HR Dept

I think Drift has just approached compensation from a frugal standpoint and has not revisited promotions and compensation during the pandemic.

Review from Marketing Dept

as a software engineer we are paid at the lower than other tech companies in the area, but I do feel like we are paid fairly for our work

Review from Engineering Dept

in roles where there aren't a ton of people, i don't think we do a great job benchmarking to the industry

Review from Customer Success Dept

The amount of hours I put in and the level of involvement I have at the executive level feels like it warrants more investment. I have a flat salary, with no opportunity for bonuses or variable compensation.

Review from Operations Dept

We should pay market rate for all roles.

Review from Product Dept

Clearer growth and progression path

Review from Product Dept

It is not aligned with market pay in many roles.
