These are step-by-step instructions for exporting an Excel workbook to a CSV file using Excel'sSave Ascommand. Please make sure that all file layout requirements have been met before using the following process:
In your Excel workbook, switch to theFiletab, and then clickSave As. Alternatively, you can pressF12to open the sameSave Asdialog.
In theSave as typebox, choose to save your Excel file asCSV (Comma delimited).
CSV (comma delimited)format saves an Excel file as a comma-separated text file. Note: This will only save theactive Excel sheet.
Choose the destination folder where you want to save your Excel file in the CSV format, then clickSave.
After clickingSave, Excel will display two dialog boxes:
The first dialog reminds you that onlythe active Excel spreadsheetwill be saved to the CSV file format - clickOK.
If you need tosave the contents of other sheets in your workbook, click into each worksheet and repeat this process to save the worksheets as a series of CSV files.
ClickingOKin the first dialog will display a second message informing you that your worksheet may contain features unsupported by the CSV encoding - clickYes.
The CSV file is now saved in your specified location and is ready for upload into D&B IQ.

How do I access D&B IQ?
All D&B team members automatically have access with OneLogin. Use your email and D&B network password to access the site on https://iq.dnb.com/.
Can my client access D&B IQ?
D&B IQ is not available to external users.
How do I upload a file?
Add an Account to D&B IQ, or have yourself added by an existing user for an Account already on IQ
Navigate to Datasets and click on SELECT A FILE
Give the selected file a unique name
Click on UPLOAD DATASET
What file formats can I upload?
We require a UTF8 encoded, comma-delimited CSV file with a Unique ID for all records and either:
A DUNS Number, OR
Name and Address information
Are specific fields required?
Yes, and the fields must be named as specified. Click here for details.
How soon can I view a Report?
Our expected guidelines.
Expected delivery time is within 24 hours for files under 1 million in record count.
Average delivery times are within 12 hours for normal use files under 500K in record count.
Expected delivery times for records over 1M is still being tested.
These guidelines are dependent on D&B Direct Plus Match system and can be impacted by any disruption in that system.
As a reminder, we currently support only files under 1M and are working to increase this in the next 45 days.
What level of knowledge is required to use Power BI?
Familiarity with navigating Windows is enough as the reports are delivered as read only.

When a file is uploaded, who sees the file and who has access to the reports?
The uploaded file is not available to any users. The reports are available to all INTERNAL D&B IQ users, whether they are assigned as a user on the account or not.
