Eargo was once a great company to work for, but has greatly regressed in the last 6 months. Through a combination of poor leadership (new & old), bureaucracy, and lack of vision, the company is dropping more & more every day. I am truly embarrassed to say that I work for this company.
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
Leadership changes and less mid-level managers.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Department of Justice investigation and poor customer service.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
The company suspended their ESPP program 1 business day before the next purchase. Many employees had the opportunity to buy $20K worth of shares at a greatly reduced rate. They are refunding the employees their money, but basically held a 0% interest loan on employee contributions for 6 months.
