It really has been great, through good and bad times in the market (and we are currently in a very good period), the company's behavior has been the same in all circumstances which has been great and I observed that the principles and values that the company talks about are real in everyday life.
What makes you most happy at work?
Collaborating with team mates and executives to build plans and strategies to achieve the compay's objectives and knowing that executing on them is visibly appreciated and adequately compensated.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
My compensation package has multiple variable components that tie directly to company objectives. It is clear to understand what is being asked and what I need to do to be successful.
What are some of the best things about your team?
There is open collaboration, each person contributes freely with their ideas and inputs and also follows the eventual decisions strongly so we get good insight into decisions and very strong execution.
What did you like most about the interview process?
The interview focused very much on personal attributes, principles and values. These were demonstrated and communicated very well by the CEO and I felt very comfortable that I would be entering a mature environment.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The company is transparent about what its goals and objectives are and this is well aligned from consistent messaging to the compensation models and the observed behavior of executives. I very much appreciate working in a mature environment.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
The leadership team at Encora gives extremely good guidance and provides access to great market research and external advice. At the same time they manage at a Macro level which gives me a lot of freedom to innovate and add value.
