We try to work efficiently and to help each other. The relationship I have with my team is something I value the most.
The salaries are bellow the standard for international tech companies (even in Mexico). This is frustrating, specially, if we consider Encora is such a huge (and international) entity. The salary reviews need to be retaken.
We try to bring a good sense of humor (or, at least, we used to) whether the times were good or bad. I also like the openness we have for providing a continuous improvement (technically and humanly speaking).
There's a lot of work to do. The easiest way to star would be to improve the communication channels. Now, is common to hear workers complain about their suggestions not being listened to. The team in charge of ensuring the mental wellbeing in the company, sometimes brings more stress to the workers.
It's sad; but, I try to convince myself that this is "just a job" and try not to put too much expectations on it. That way I can remain professional (even with those aspects I don't like about it). So, answering the question, I don't look for happiness in this or any job; just a fair compensation.
