The elements of my job that allow for me to do my work as an independent, mature, adult, expert in my field give me professional satisfaction and passion for my duties. The elements that limit us, patronize us, surveil us, and ignore our needs/input/proven results make me frustrated and disengaged.

Review from Business Development Dept · Posted 20 days ago

Being able to work for a company that is actually trying to make the world a better place. Being even a small part of that is very fulfilling.

Posted 20 days ago

Solving problems and figuring out how to make improvements to make processes better and more efficient for my coworkers

I really like having my own office at work, even with the glass doors. I would be much unhappier in office without my own space. I also really like working from home two days a week. I can move my body as much as I need to and stretch freely, which gives me more energy.

I work from home and am 99.999% autonomous in my work. If I need help - I can reach out to my responsive manager who is always on the ready to provide me help.

I feel like I can really impact the success of the company as whole by applying the company values I've been brought up with and my own unique blend of skills and abilities

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

Favoritism and mean girl attitudes from middle management needs to stop.

Review from Marketing Dept

Company leadership does not have enough top down initiative, and as a result, there is often a lack of communication between teams, late in development emergencies, and a general lack of a shared direction.

workload, uneven work life balance

Review from Business Development Dept

In 30 years with the company, I've watched things change & not for the better. Benefits are great, pay's not commensurate with industry standards. The return to office mandate is counter to ESRI's professed concern for the environment. WFH worked; it's good for the planet & workers mental wellbeing.

Review from Customer Support Dept

I feel undervalued. Opportunities for career growth are limited and often shut down. New hires make more money than 7+ year experienced employees. Esri tries to justify low pay with "great" benefits but these benefits are industry standard. Also, I can't pay rent or buy groceries with benefits.

Review from Customer Support Dept

I feel that this company has the resources to make effective and positive changes when it comes to the compensation of their employees but are stuck in "old ways" on how to run a business. This in turn stunts business and professional growth of their employees.
