My leadership team has been great because they have created a culture of learning and always asking questions. Everyone has an open door policy and will always be willing to help or answer any questions you have-- no matter their 'title'.

How to think about every member when they make a decision
Review from Operations Dept
I like the leadership team's patience and understanding the best! I took on a position in which I had no experience and my seniors have spent so much time thoroughly training me and are eager to answer questions.
How they invest in the tools through R&D and have a focus on both employee and customer success. Truly focused on problems our clients have and how to fix them.
Review from Business Development Dept
They give me the autonomy to do what i think is right for the company
They are focused on the needs of our customers and believe that making our customers successful is the best way to make Esri successful.
Review from Business Development Dept
Transparency and willingness to listen to employees.
Clear goals and commitment. Employee friendly.
Innovative mindset, often paired with a previous academic background. Lots of responsibility and trust right form the start
- Flat hierarchy. - A lot of flexibility/freedom (no micro-management)
I love the open door policy. I love how helpful they are and how they make everyone on the team feel inclusive always
Leadership structure is very flat so any concerns can reach up. There is always a focus on developing expertise and career growth.
They aim for stability and a healthy work environment.
Clear communication, clear goals, fair assessment.
I believe they listen and truly care (to a greater extent) about the about the challenges and needs of each individual.
They genuinely ask questions, listen to the answers and take them into account in decision making
Care about employees' best interest and are socially and environmentally conscious.
Favoritism seems to be pretty frequent at least in my dept and building. I have heard that the rest of esri is better than my dept so I am trying to find a new team because as of now I do not have positive things to say about this company and how they treat their employees especially if they are poc
Review from Marketing Dept
Manage people effectively and provide coaching for improvement and development
Leadership is a click, and there is a wall between 'leadership and front-line workers'. Leadership needs to solicit employee feedback via town halls and anonymous surveys, which is not currently done.
Review from Business Development Dept
Make decision-making organized, efficient, and transparent, support stated goals.
They need to stop playing hot potato with employee complaints and concern and address the concerns with honest responses. The environment here is demoralizing and toxic and will continue to get worse until they choose to acknowledge the complaints.
Review from Customer Support Dept
Taking action on their employees concerns. They brush off all concerns and complaints and don't actually ever take any action on them. We have all been speaking up in reviews and to HR, and we are brushed off or totally ignored, and sometimes don't even receive responses.
Communication across the board. Maybe they feel that the message gets across at higher levels but by the time it gets to the 'front-line' associates. Most we hear is "everything's fine" and "we're so great" and "we love the work you're doing" but it doesn't seem that they value it.
