Evonik is a good company and I enjoy my work. We have lost in the last years the basics of good work ethics and Christian behavior. I detect this in the promotion pathways of Evonik,because we do not value the right employees. To much politics and the hiring of bad leaders from external companies.
What makes you most happy at work?

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Stable job, as we are a German-Company, no hire and fire!
What are some of the best things about your team?
In my team: Openness and Ownership of tasks is given. The people have to learn a lot, but they are willing to do so.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
No politics, focus to get the job done. We need to stop the soft factor improvement and support and get rid of the weak people in the organization. The leadership team needs to provide better tools to do the job.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
If I compare my knowledge base with other people within the organization, I'm 100% underpaid and not recognized, as I'm doing 2 more jobs in parallels to my own, therefore I have no time for politics and it will not paid off at the end of the day for me. I realize it, but I step back to support EVK
