Compensation is okay and benefits are pretty good. Local team is overall filled with hardworking and reliable individuals I am happy to rely on and work with. Professional training is absent and would be beneficial to development. Corporate leadership regarding pandemic was not impressive.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Better communication regarding roles, expectations, and more discussion regarding changes of these. Communication is lacking in these areas and training is limited.
What makes you most happy at work?
Problem solving and self ownership. Sometimes problem solving devolves to fire fighting which can be frustrating and micromanagement can occur, but frequency is less than other previous workplaces.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Most leaders and employees are here to work as a team and complete their work. There is not much concern about trust between coworkers and needing to walk on egg shells.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Members of our local team care deeply about the plant and personnel and try to maintain relationships that support collaboration. This does not appear to apply with all members of leadership in or outside of the plant.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Local team leaders are personable and strive to get to know you in and outside of workplace. Most seem driven and have similar goals of going home safely and enjoying time away from the work for personal lives and relaxation.
