The closer you get to your department, the better. Be warned, if you're a scientist then the business side will not understand your needs and requirements in lab as they don't have the background except "too much money, not in the budget". other than that, the culture here is great.
Briefly describe your overall experience at your company
Great teamwork/support from my coworkers if i need it. Clients are neutral. Only main issue is development due to busy schedule so you can't "learn" as often as youd like which would intern help you grow and move up the ladder.

communication and we always have each others back if needed
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
For it to be re-evaluated yearly due to increased stress/work load and inflation

we all listen to eachother and want to help out whenever we can to lower each others stress level
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
better compensate your Scientists. help us learn more as you say we should but then expect us to watch "seminars" when we are already at 95% work capacity..
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
instead of paying us the bottom part of the salary range, i wish it was more towards the middle. the clients we work with unappreciated the education i have and paid for.
