I have only been with Evonik 2 years and I have been rewarded for my contributions. I have met some very good people and even with COVID have been able to start growing a network.
What makes you most happy at work?
Finishing with a sense of accomplishment. Being appreciated for my talents.
What are some of the best things about your team?
They care and want to do a good job. The are receptive to guidance.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
The leadership team seems to be in touch with the dynamic work-scape we are now in and are trying to be flexible and responsive. I particularly like Bonny Tully and the leadership team is better with her.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
I think the use of social tools - e.g., the various communities are good. I am a member of several. I think the diversity efforts are okay, but it's hard for me to really know how effective these are.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
We say we do salary surveys and that the benefits are very good (which they are), but a few years ago I was in a similar role to the one I am in now and my salary is about 10-15% behind.
