Generally I feel like things are improving. The transition from the acquisition was challenging, but I am happy that we were bought by Evonik. I see us changing and working together more digitally and openly. I appreciate the efforts towards hybrid and flexible work arrangements.
What makes you most happy at work?
Interacting with other high performing colleagues. Being productive / making progress on big projects.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Bonnie is clearly invested in improving the lives of the employees in NA and she is working with NALT to improve benefits. I also appreciate the female representation in NALT. This shows the company truly values diverse leaders.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
I appreciate that we have moved more towards sharing in informal ways with groups like Common Grounds and Seek and Solve. We have a lot of knowledge spread out in our company and it feels good when we share it.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Most people are happy to meet new colleagues and connect virtually now. It makes the company feel more personal when things are moved off email to a quick face to face Teams chat. My team is also regularly giving me feedback and encouragement when I do a good job.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
I appreciate that PTO increases every few years. This keeps me motivated to stay with the company. I also appreciate that the bonus structure was changed to be based on the results from the full company - which makes is more fair when certain markets have up / down years.
