I really enjoyed working at one Evonik site, people really cared about their jobs and I was busy. I do not like working at the Evonik site I currently work at. My fellow employees seem unhappy at work and I am bored.
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
People should be compensated more.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
They don't seem terrible. I don't have strong feelings about the leadership team.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
I am bored. My time is not adequately utilized and the general site moral is low. People are not excited about their jobs.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
The general attitude is "let's complain all the time about our jobs and corporate". It is great to work with them but they can seem really miserable.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
As an intern I get no paid holidays and no PTO for a 12 week program. Also the pay isn't competitive and the housing stipend doesn't reflect the actual cost of rent in the city I am working in.
