I've been here for 30 years (between Eli Lilly and Evonik and the time has seemed to fly by. It has been challenging and satisfying work with some very very good people along side. At times it has been very stressful, but I am in a place that is rewarding and challenging while not overwhelming.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
Comprehensiveness of the plan and the competitiveness in the market.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Supportive especially when personal hardship is encountered or a family emergency needs to be addressed. But this is not abused by the employees either.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Not micro-managers but they have your back and will go to bat for you when needed. They care about the employees as people and not just the business.
What makes you most happy at work?
Accomplishing what I came in to do and being recognized for the work I do, even if it is just verbal acknowledgement from management and coworkers. But a gift card or promotion or similar recognition is also appreciated.
What are some of the best things about your team?
It is a team effort. Everyone is willing to step in and help for the common goals. There is a feeling of being in this together. We collectively are able to accomplish what may not seen doable at first.
