It's a good place to work. While the pay is good, more appreciation for the employees in the form of better bonuses and raises would go a long way to increase retention. The atmosphere on the plant site is good and welcoming.

The PTO time we receive immediately upon hiring.

They communicate openly with the operators.

Experience and cohesion of the team.

Being with my coworkers every day.

Better communication and separate calendars for 8-hour employees and 12-hour employees.

Cohesiveness - willingness of more experienced operators to teach the newer ones.

Working with my team and knowing that we work together to get the job done.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The ability to move up in the company and the training received. Also, the cohesion of the buildings.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Our bonuses are poor as well as the pay raises for the type of job we do. The benefits are no better than anywhere else.
