I enjoy doing what I do, but each year more & more work is put on all of us & expectations are increased with less people & no more or very little pay increase. The plant succeeds & none of its success is passed down to the front line workers. Things need fixed also & don't, hard to stay positive.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Interesting question, as the plant struggles to operate daily.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Most everyone here is committed to their job & to do the best of their ability, each & every day. Producing the best & most high quality product we can.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
Loaded question: Most are good quality employees. The newer younger aged employees don't have the same drive & work ethics as the more senior/older employees with some just plain lazy.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Better raises & higher pay as the world has changed & costs on everything have gone up, but our pay hasn't to match inflation. This plant use to be envied & everyone wanted to work here, now we can't get people to apply.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
There's no plan for hiring & training of a new employee prior to an exiting or retirement of current employees. Our process is not like an assembly line, it takes 6 months to a year to train & qualify a new operator to do a job independently. So currently we are always be hind in the learning curve.
