My opinion as a subject matter expert is valued.

Many people on my team are top-notch people in the field.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

My immediate supervisor and manager support a work-life balance and my career goals.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Compensation does not consider technical specialization nor does it adequately consider local market pay.

What do you like best about the leadership team?

The NALT President is well respected and invested in the safe operations of the Region.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

My compensation is based on local market surveys without regard to my specialty or the global market.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

There is no accountability of support functions. I do not feel empowered to be able to do my job.

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

There is no clear identity or focus area. They merge and acquire only on commercial numbers without regard to integrating the people or cultures.

What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?

My coworkers are specialized and work remotely because the office is located in an area that does not have enough specialists and the company does not pay enough to get people to move to that unattractive location.

What needs to change to make the company culture better?

The work locations are in unattractive areas, pay is not competitive, and support functions (IT, HR, Procurement) are not responsive. This results in high turnover that results in a constant level of stress. Make pay competitive and perks to make people feel appreciated.
