We are in desperate need of a new manager who cares about the company, not someone who is coasting to retirement.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Unfortunately due to management, all the safety culture and positive work environment that had been created before is being lost.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Operations has grown as a group through the pandemic. Teamwork, trust and sense of family has increased, although we worked well together before.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Current management has no vested interest in this plant. Makes no effort to make improvements. Takes no accountability for actions. Makes threats and gets defensive, then comes back an hour later and thanks people for input. Open door policy is a front, it's his way or no way.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Meaning what they say, and not just provide lip service and give canned responses from a training manual. When safety concerns are brought to his attention, we are told that he is the manager and everything is safe unless he says otherwise. Awesome company until most recent manager took ever.
