Executive Bio

Mr. Matthew C. Moellering, also known as Matt, has been the Chief Operating Officer of Express Inc. since September 21, 2011 and has been its Executive Vice President since October 2009. Mr. Moellering served as Chief Administrative Officer, Chief Financial Officer, Secretary and Treasurer of Express Inc. from July 2007 to September 21, 2011. Prior to that, he served as Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, Treasurer and Secretary of Express Parent from July 2007 to October 2009 and Vice President of Finance from September 2006 to July 2007. Prior to that, he served in various roles with Limited Brands from February 2003 to September 2006 and served as Vice President of Financial Planning. He started with Limited Brands as a Finance Director from 2003 to 2004. Prior to that, Mr. Moellering served in various roles with Procter and Gamble where he served from July 1995 to February 2003 and previously served as an officer in the United States Army. He has been Independent Director of L.L. Bean, Inc. since May 2014.
