Better understanding of work performed by direct reports.
Understanding the value of their people. Quit implementing human resourcing projects that do not work. Employ the people of your country that hold value instead of outsourcing to other countries that negatively impact our processes and quality!
Not lying to employees. Thinking about long term success. Caring for employees and honestly trying to improve the culture.

I'm paid well. Stock units take way too long to vest. Health benefits aren't very good.

What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
We are all ok the same boat really
Due to Forced Ranking, workers and peers are untrusting and lack teamwork.
Stop working in silos and trying to cut pwople. Teamwork and collaboration is a positive.
Need to have less defensive people who is not receptive to change
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
People are respectful and professional.
People have Lot of creative ideas
Local culture. You need to roll your own because the corporate culture is toxic.

What needs to change to make the company culture better?
Refer to historical numbers and the maintenance of this company. Bring back the value that leads to your dollar.

Being able to (occasionally) work from home.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
There are too many hidden agendas at ExxonMobil by the Leadership Teams.
There is an element of dogmatism in the practices that Exxon employs in the sense that because they are doing a lot of things right, they aren't as open to identify what they are doing wrong. An open minded approach from middle management is crucial to the company's future success.

What do you like best about your company?
perfection at work, goods & services
I like that we are technically a large "corporation business" but at the same time we are just the nice Country Store down the road.
What would you most like to see improved at your company?
I would probably say updating some of the electronic equipment; such as the credit/debit card readers, the gas pumps, and maybe some of the appliances in the kitchen.
