Fivetran's Modern Data Stack Conference is coming to San Francisco and registration is now open!
Its a great company and I don't plan to leave unless territories shrink to the point where I cant realistically archive quota attainment. I see over-hiring a sales force being one of the main factors why companies lose sales folks.
Briefly describe your overall experience at your company
It has been a positive experience. I enjoy being part of the data community and working with the companies we work with. I think my experience has been a little tainted by the overall situation in the tech space and I do not feel like Fivetran has done a great job of making people feel comfortable.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Leadership seems to care about employees in person.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Smart, helpful. Definitely has a the culture of a small company.
What makes you most happy at work?
Closing new business, running deal cycles that solve problems for customers

They seem to enjoy each other a ton on a personal level
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I think the base/OTE could be a little higher for Commercial Reps.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
My manager is the best I have ever had. They really do a good job of cultivating a positive work environment
What do you like best about the leadership team?
They are surprisingly accessible and genuine while also being extremely adept. Overall, I am impressed with them as both humans and leaders.

Most positive is that a lot of people seem to think Fivetran is still a small company and they treat it as such
What is the best part about your compensation package?
Hopefully the equity. Time will tell with that, but It feels good to know that I am a driving force behind the ultimate value of my equity.
What makes you most happy at work?
Knowing that I am selling a best of breed product to companies who derive value from using it. Also being with a whole company who believes in the same mission.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
I think the base/OTE could be a little higher for Commercial Reps. The options, provided I can actually buy them. I am nervous about a layoff and the rules for purchasing them in the event of some sort of layoff.
