I've really enjoyed working, learning, and building at Fivetran. I see myself here for a long time. It's both a challenging and supportive work environment. I'm proud of the work we do and how we enable the movement of data for companies across the globe.
Briefly describe your overall experience at your company
I have really enjoyed working at Fivetran. It is a stark contrast from many places -- even those that I feel positively about. While there are a lot of processes in place already, there is ample flexibility and freedom to allow employees to innovate and collaborate.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Employees at Fivetran are consistently enthusiastic, high-performing individuals with great attitudes. This drives more collaboration, better overall performance, and more job satisfaction.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
We are given several great health insurance choices covered by the company. This enables us to select the best benefits based on personal circumstances.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Everyone is rowing in the same boat, which makes even difficult conversations easier. We focus more on general objectives and people generally leave their egos at the door.
What makes you most happy at work?
Interacting with happy customers! I get to work with customers who are enthusiastic about Fivetran and its impact, which makes it easy to get through even tedious tasks.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
There is frequent communication and more transparency than I've experienced at any other company. It makes it feel like we're really rowing in the same boat, despite any challenges we're facing.

There is an immense amount of transparency at Fivetran. Our leadership is very open about successes and challenges, and they show their human side regularly -- something I had not experienced in any other business.
What makes you most happy at work?
I love both our team and our customers. Getting to work with them on a daily basis brings so many positive things to my daily experience, from learning & collaborating, to simply catching up & building relationships.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Despite already having a lot of processes in place, there are many opportunities to be creative and contribute every day. The team is open to new ideas and optimizing at every step and we have the autonomy to do that.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
Fivetran has a wide array of benefits, and choices within those benefits, that really suit my needs. From financial incentives like a 401k match and HSA, to heaps of healthy in-office snacks and meals, I feel like the company values me as an employee and as an individual.
What are some of the best things about your team?
I've never worked with a team of people where everyone carries their own weight and then some the way Fivetranners do. Everyone on my team feels ownership over the work they're doing. There is accountability on the team and it feels like everyone is working towards the same goals.
