I started when we were under 100 people and today we've grown to over 600! In that time I've been exposed to some amazing opportunities I thought I would never have. The pace at which I learn has multiplied and I'm excited for what's next!
Briefly describe your overall experience at your company
Its been a wild ride! We scale so fast, each 3-6 months its time to think about how we can streamline and automate to continue being successful in our growth. A lot of problem solving, methodologies and a ton of room to role up your sleeves and be very hands on!

my skills are being used, and I can see the impact of my work almost instantly

They are real people. I know if I need a thought partner or a buddy to help me while Im out of the office - my team always has my back.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Uber transparent, teammates aren't afraid to put leaders on the spot and ask tough questions and leaders aren't afraid to answer! The open dialog and visibility into what we're doing is refreshing!
What makes you most happy at work?
Doing what I do best and growing our team! I want others to be able to prosper along side me and have the chance to be their best self in the workplace as well!
What is the best part about your compensation package?
While my base pay is competitive, the best part is the equity/stock options. I know this company is going to hit it out of the part when we IPO someday and I'm sticking around for that ride!
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
You can be yourself! I come into every video call my authentic self because I know that's where my competitive edge lies. The culture at Fivetran allows for that, I know I'm in a safe space where I am valued and cared for!
What are some of the best things about your team?
My team CARES - and people who care bring their whole selves to work each day, they look out for what's right for the people and they care about how we impact each other with the decisions we make everyday. They also have the biggest smiles and laugh at my mediocre jokes every time!
