Fogo de Chao Compensation Employee Reviews

What is the best part about your compensation package?

Salary + bonus , flexibility and benefits

Faur base salary was paid

It is nice to get some free food but it tends to be "grab what you can" and closers often don't get to eat.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Promotions from within and merit increases that at minimum kept up with inflation.

Offer insurance and get paid for at least two holidays u should close for

More support and help on the floor during service. Everyone should be bussing not just the servers. Everyone, everyone should help and support the guest's experience. More support and divided up labor.

Review from Customer Success Dept

Because it is a tip pool everyone gets the same no matter the input, you get promoted to extra roles for the same amount of money

23 dolar because everithing ecpensive

THEY STEAL WAITERS TIPS AND DIVIDE THEM UNFAIRLY ALWAYS, never give you claroty of how much of the percentage you are getting for your hard work

Management not only took my tips when anither section was short but took the full amount from me when I wasnt short. Changed my schedule a day before week started and told me To wuit when I tried to politely discuss the situation.

Underpayed underpayed underpayed underpayed seriously

Cause they have favorites and want whats ever easy for them

Review from Sales Dept

Paid overtime and split tips differently

Review from Operations Dept

Working only part shifts on the holidays. Not a a 12 hournshift. Adjust rest times so its only open in after 3 We are serving food. Not saving lives. Oh here is a thought. Close on thanksgiving and christmas.

setting automatic tipping standards for parties of 6 to 8 or more

Review from Customer Success Dept

I am under valued because I am a hard worker and with their tip pool system it doesn't matter how hard you work only how long.

I feel undervalued because management only values sales and do not care about what servers make

During my 4.5 years of employment experience with the company I learned the hard way that with each new change amongst management my professional reputation, be it, my exceptional commitment, sacrifice, tenure, experience, leadership, training countless new managers & staff, was all quickly forgot

More transparency. They are not upfront about compensation and they have judged me unfairly.

I work there for 1 year and half, just got a raise for $1.50 My salary is Now $16.50,less than a dish washer

I'm not saying that I don't get paid enough but the amount of work they try to make me do should reflect on the paycheck

Hostess are not tipped and under paid for the work they do. Managers stress everyone out.

I feel undervalued because we do not get paid appropriately. Tips are split evenly but the work is not divided equivalently. There is favoritism & many do not work hard but receive money for the work they do not do. Management should be under a closer microscope.
