I started in as a customer service counselor, piloted a service and sales counselor based team, did auditing and monitored quality control for the service and sales department, I've coached and mentored new hire training classes, and I am now an upper level injury adjuster.
What makes you most happy at work?
Negotiating a settlement with an attorney and having them accept my final offer versus my having to agree to settling for their demand.
What would you most like to see improved at your company?
I would love to see an equal amount of management opportunities given to our inside SPP pool and not just the outside MDP pool.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
Our health benefits alone are better than a majority of companies, including the local big name hospital. Additionally, our yearly profit sharing is a definite plus.
What did you like most about the interview process?
I've been with GEICO for quite a number of years. They have changed the process quite a bit but what I liked most was the real life job role plays.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
GEICO is a large corporation but it doesn't have that corporate feel. The company is working very hard to make sure that we focus on our mental wellbeing and ensuring that we have a good work-life balance.
What are some of the best things about your team?
My direct team is great. We laugh and help each other out as much as possible. We all agree that we spend too much time at work to not get along and make one another laugh as possible. A lot of teams
What do you like best about the leadership team?
GEICO is broken down into multiple regions. I can only speak for my own region when I say my leadership team is there to support us. There is an open door atmosphere and I know that there is always someone there to advocate for me if needed.
