How does Google measure success and growth in the Business Development department?
Google is in it’s own lane in terms of business development. It creates ways to make their systems data and software sustainable.
What's the company culture like at Google?
Very political.
How's the leadership on the Operations team at Google?
Very poor. Especially at Youtube.
Does Google have any remote positions?
Google has a wide distribution of engineering offices of various sizes outside of Silicon Valley. Working as an individual remotely (from home?) seems less common, but I've seen a couple of instances of this.
What is life like at Google?
Average, unless you believe the hype, then maybe below average
Does your office environment help with your creativity?
Not at all it’s an “Open Interruption a minute” culture
What do people at Google think about the CEO? What do they do well and what can they improve?
He is well liked. Google is good about acting like they are diverse and fair when they really are not. They definitely need to allow for more diversity of thought. Asian women are not treated fairly here.
What's the office vibe like at Google?
It is fast moving for sure. You will have a hard time if you are not a leftist SJW type.
How long have u been working there? U like it?
10+ years. Yes
is it easy to switch roles? does mgmt encourage it?
No. It's not easy above certain grade (5+)

All technical questions
What is the best thing about working at your company?
Work on amazing projects
How much freedom do you have with your roadmap?
Short term is always more restrained since resources have already been committed, but medium to long term is fully up to me to come up with the detailed proposals.
