Friendly and caring people, management who care about what is going on in your life outside of work as well as during work hours.
The coworker interaction and my boss is really helpful and encouraging, the job is also great experiencd
We set the bar high and we help each other achieve this high standard. It's kind of like peer-pressure -- but in a good way.
Review from Operations Dept
Job security. We haven't had layoffs. Instead, the company now offers a free healthcare option, more paid time off, raised the minimum hourly wage to $18/hour. Gray offers a lot of training during onboarding and throughout the year. The HR team holds monthly contests.
Leadership is approachable. New ideas are encouraged. Mistakes aren't the end of the world but an opportunity from which to learn. Management isn't breathing over my shoulder.
Managers, peers, upgraded station and equipment
Everyone does their best to put on a quality newscast and digital offering.
Review from Communications Dept
There are some fun incentives within the company, but honestky, the money they spend should go to increasing wages across the board. You know it is bad when even managers are making less than average managers elsewhere.
You get pizza when there's breaking news/weather and you don't get to leave (if you work dayside or nightside at least). I got a nice travel coffee mug at 5 years. Gray gave all employees a coffee mug during COVID for their service, and a tiny bonus that was taxed. This is not a joke.
We all try to be there for each other
WE SUPPORT EACH OTHER AND PARTICIPATE IN VARIOUS PROJECTS OFFERED BY THE COMPANY WITH GREAT RESULTS.

My boss empowers me and trusts me.
Absolutely nothing. Worst company I have ever worked for.
There is nothing positive about this company
Review from Communications Dept
team environment collaborative and experienced
The people I work with. Everything else is pretty bad.

Immediate supervisors are good at recognizing accomplishments but the higher up in the chain they go the worse it gets
Review from Engineering Dept
I'd say teamwork between the good employees, but there are plenty who are just working for themselves.
Review from Operations Dept
Connection is key they do not care
Leadership, better policies, better benefits, better conpensation. More respect for employees
stop firing and laying everyone off
