Hannaford Supermarket Compensation Employee Reviews

What is the best part about your compensation package?

My health insurance is the best part

That I have one. Haha, been a waitress my whole life and never had an opportunity for any.

The total package is great

As a part timer , 10 % discount on Hannaford products etc

Retirement fund is good for me.

It didn't get more expensive this year

Health insurance and 5% match for my 401k!!

paid time off is great

Retirement fund, PTO and sick leave

The 401K mlcompany match and the instant vesting is extremely valuable.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

I make minimum wage and have been given many many more responsibilities than my coworkers, and have been compensated in no way after almost a year of it. Even after requests.

Extremely undervalued and underpaid. For being one of the most expensive grocery stores in the North East, they pay the least. Employees have yet to see livable wages and fair compensation packages.

If the employer's, CEO and executive team saw how little the "grunts" make and how we cannot hire enough staff due to the wages being so abysmal.

Let me do the job you are paying me for taking care of our customers

Yes I show up every shift go in early if need or on days off but someone who started 2-3 months ago makes more than i do just starting out and it goes for other employees to

First i came to this company knj ok owing after certain time i was going to have reveive with a pay uncrav

Getting a raise when supposed to, being treated fairly based on my work performance, having the management follow through when they say they're going to do something.

Not being heard, everyone should have benfits

They'll have you do every single thing possible in the store even if it's not apart of your job description

Review from Sales Dept

ARM bullies employees and downs them

I should make more money.

The pay was subpar and management was horrible, Nothing would make me feel better besides working somewhere else

I want my job back and compensated for the illegal action they took upon me I didn't get a executive letter like they are required to give I got a white paper with a lame paragraph the arms manager typed out

Review from Sales Dept

My insurance is so expensive through work but my deductible is so high I can't even use it at my quarterly appointments, I've had to move twice in 5 years because 40hrs isnt enough to make rent in my area

Higher salary given the fact that I am expected to be cross-trained and and work several different departments while still being paid a rate based upon one job only

Better pay, i coukd work for Burger King abd make significantly more for less work

I feel constantly overworked and never seem to be doing enough for the company even though I am always doing overtime

Cost of living raises arent't enough

Currently paying less than local competitors. After Covid workload has tripled while workforce has halved. There is no compensation or seeming understanding of this situation. Almost feels intentional.

Basic respect of humans require paying a living wage.
