Reviews are done annually. Raises are seldom more than 3%, and often less. Market adjustments are nonexistent, and promotion raises (when they happen) don’t make up the difference either.
What's the best part of your job at Healthgrades?
The pay, though lousy by comparison to current market value, is enough to be comfortable. That and the time off.

I’m fairly secure in my job, but not at all secure in whether I want to be here.

Largely ignored. The company pays lip service to pretending our input matters, but things largely stay unchanged.

How much diversity is there among employees at Healthgrades?
We have had an influx of Indian contractors from a firm in Bangalore. Aside from that, very few non-Caucasian employees. Overall we have a pretty good male/female mix, but our engineering team is largely male-dominated
What's the office layout like at Healthgrades?
Denver: now, a racetrack. Circular hallway with medium to large open rooms of weird angle desks. Soon: large rooms with picnic bench style small desk areas, no personal space, no privacy.
What unique perks and benefits does Healthgrades provide?
6 weeks’ time off is pretty good, but it does include all your sick time. If you’re prone to illness better not plan on 6 weeks’ worth of vacation!
