I love the heavily discounted HelloFresh and Factor meals!! I don't grocery shop very much now. There's also good maternity/paternity and PTO culture, relatively good stock options (RSUs with no vesting period), and 401k matching is good with no wait period for vesting.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Everyone practices the 'egoless environment' in our company DNA, we focus on solving the problem, the most jr person can have the best solution. There's growth mindset and graciousness in interactions (assuming good intent). Also, people are very generous with their time. It's a good place to learn.
What makes you most happy at work?
I get to solve interesting problems! And everyone is excited about tough problems... And I get to have a big impact on the product. It's small enough where everyone's work makes a big difference. My work has a lot of meaning and we really are customer-centric in our decisions.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
I think our ERGs are really great, and we all actually care about creating a sustainable product. I also love how everyone gives quality, helpful feedback in a thoughtful way. I like that there's a culture of learning and growth, too. We move fast but they aren't trying to burn anyone out!
