they are reactive and not proactive. the lack of growth on our team is frustrating and instead of advocating for us to improve work conditions, we are punished when out output suffers because our bandwidth is beyond capacity. there is no follow through nor effort on the promotion pathway- no 30/30

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

They fact that we are constantly thrown into projects or roles without support or clarity is frustrating. To dangle the promise of promotion knowing (mgmt) hasn't doesn't done made a business case to adjust headcount shows they feel we are easily replaced an want to burn us out

Being told in Q2 that there will likely be no upward mobility is pretty discouraging and doesn't provide anything for me to want to push much harder. Also the entire team is doing the same job, regardless of role and the pay discrepancy is pretty large throughout.

I am working at a level far about my job title and have been told I am not being promoted because the company does not value my team. I have literally been told I am not valued by my manager.

Considering the direct impact on the whole company that the recipe developers and culinary team as a whole have, I believe these positions should have a higher salary range. This would result in hiring experienced chefs with a broader background in techniques and cuisines.

My teammates are a great support system. We communicate and are direct. We tend to resolve most issues amongst ourseleves- involving mgmt tends to do more harm than good- we learned that the hard way.

Swag, I have worked here a year and haven't received a single piece of swag. I also haven't gotten a thank you from the company or my manager for working 50+ hours per week for a year. I don't know how HF expects to retain people when they treat them so poorly.

Mgmt makes us feel like peons. Any valid concerns or pain points are never really resolved causing redundant work. We are infantilized even though we are all working towards the same goal and are all adults. Lack of follow through or not getting all the info before presenting a change is frustrating
