It's a bit of a culture shock and huge environment change as I worked in the fashion industry for well over 10 years prior to coming here. It has been a welcome change and I actually feel like I am part of the bigger picture when it comes to the business as a whole.
What makes you most happy at work?
Being continuously challenged, having the opportunity to learn and progress my knowledge and skills, and being able to help solve problems.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Transparency on the business as a whole, always looking for ways to be inclusive and respectful of all peoples, celebrating all successes big and small
What is the best part about your compensation package?
I haven't had to use much of it, but the spending account helped cover my daughter's orthodontics, which as many parents know, is a large expense
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
I have never worked for a business that has celebrated so many different groups of people before. It gives me hope that we are socially progressing in the world. I have also never worked for a business that has given back so much to local communities and charities.
What are some of the best things about your team?
We all work with an "none of us is as good as all of us" mentality. We are a very tight knit group and are always openly communicating with each other. Whether we have been with the business for months or years, it's as if we have known each other forever.
