As far as retail goes, Hobby Lobby provides a friendly workplace environment. The workload can be physically taxing as all floor associates are required to participate in all tasks, including unloading the truck, carrying merchandise up and down ladders, and similar things.

What are some of the best things about your team?
We have a lot of hard workers in our store and overall a pretty postive attitude. There's always someone willing to stop and help if you need it.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
They tend to be more understanding of their employees needs than other retail managers. Time off requests and scheduling needs are usually respected, and management doesn't guilt trip employees for having lives outside of work.
