What did you like most about the interview process?

The way that it was personal and not intimidating.

What do you like best about the leadership team?

They care about their people, but are constantly trying to meet the demands of a company that doesn't seem to be aware of the unrealistic expectations it places on each store.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

Our management and employees want to honor the LORD in everything that we do. We had a very healthy work environment, but it's getting more difficult to navigate the added pressures, changes and expectations from corporate.

What are some of the best things about your team?

We have an excellent group of folks who really work hard and desire to see the company (and our manager) do well. But in the past six months there is more discouragement and distress among the ranks. Again, under constant changes from corporate, the expectations are unrealistic.

What makes you most happy at work?

Serving people! Seeing coworkers valued and encouraged in their work and ability to carry it out well. When employees are convinced that they are valued and their work matters, that will be seen and felt by the customers. Employees need to have clarity and the ability to complete their jobs.
