The interview overall was fine and I did like it when they took me around to each department and introduced me to you know the different workers that were there and everyone seemed very nice.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Regular full-time employees/department heads are paid Less than the assistant managers and they actually do more and are responsible for more. You do not see an assistant manager or even a manager on a register helping get the lines down you can often find them in the office except for one. And she
What are some of the best things about your team?
We have some of the hardest workers but they are underpaid and under appreciated. And when anyone speaks out with an opinion they no longer have a job. It has been only discussed by management with other employees that a certain person will be written up until they have a reason to fire them.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
In order to lead you have to be a leader instead of a follower. You have to make sure that all rules are abided by, even management. Management is supposed to be out on the floor working along side their employees and setting the example. They need to problem solve. That is lacking in our store 5.
