2 wks to start. Good luck being able to take a week off though. Let alone using both weeks to have a decent getaway with the family. Just won't happen. And if you've been here 25+ years and get your 6wks vacation, you may have trouble being able to even use it all. And that isn't because these workers who have the 6 weeks love their work so much they don't want to take it.

We have moved to an open vacation policy which means there is no set number of days but it is up to your manager to approve. We have also gone to use or lose sick days (6?) each year. What you get to use is really up to the business you are in and what manager you get

It's both good and bad.... they want you to take vacation and compel you to plan your days off in one of the HR systems. That's all fine, but the realities of the job often keep you from going on vacation. The systems is not very friendly.

Not very good. Until you have been in Honeywell for 10 years you can only bank 120 hrs (3 weeks) of paid vacation time. Anything above that you lose on your anniversary date. After 10 years it 200 hrs (5 weeks).

The vacation policy at Honeywell was great when I worked there. Don't know if they've made any changes recently but it worked well in my time of employment.

Comparable to other competitors. However, Honeywell could gain employee satisfaction if there was a buy back initiative as workload often causes lost vacation

Salaried employees: unlimited vacation Hourly employees: 10 days the first 4 years then you get an additional day. Max is 4 weeks after 20 years

Ok but depends on what manager you have. It is all at managers discretion with no set days
