What are some of the best things about your team?

There are many great consultants that work for Infosys. They are eager to learn and strive hard to understand the client's needs.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

I work from a home office at the client's request. Thus, I am able to avoid some of the less palatable bureaucratic aspects of working for Infosys.

What makes you most happy at work?

My client truly appreciates my contribution and effort on their behalf. I am treated equally to their employees and actively participate in the decisions impacting the client's business.

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Infosys has challenges with overcoming cultural differences from their clients. They actively seek to improve this (leadership), but often fall short of this goal (execution). This impacts the quality of their services, longevity and employee value.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

At present, I am paid less than half my billing rate. The client sought to buy out my contract and Infosys made the cost of that unattainable, so they could leverage the billing rate my skill set commands.

What would you improve about your company's interview process?

Infosys renegotiated their initial offer 3 times before I finished their interview process. Each offer was presented as unaware of the previous offer. Thus, my final offer was $15K less, than the initial offer, which I have never recovered. GET YOUR OFFER IN WRITING EARLY!
