Executive Bio

Mr. David Scott Goone, also known as Dave, has been the Chief Strategic Officer of Intercontinental Exchange, Inc. since March 1, 2001. Mr. Goone is responsible for all aspects of ICE's product line, including futures products and capabilities for ICE's electronic platform. Mr. Goone has over 20 years of experience in the exchange and futures trading industry. He served as a Senior Vice President at Intercontinental Exchange, Inc. since March 2001. He played a central role in Intercontinental Exchange's and completed merger with the New York Board of Trade. He played a central role in the companies completed merger with New York Board of Trade. He served as Senior Vice President of Business Development & Sales at Intercontinental Exchange, Inc. since April 2004. Prior to joining ICE in 2001, he served as the Managing Director of Product Development & Sales at Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME). Before joining the CME in 1992, he served as a Vice President of Indosuez Carr Futures from 1989 to 1992, where he developed institutional and corporate business. Prior to joining Indosuez, he served at Chase Manhattan Bank, where he developed and managed its exchange-traded foreign currency options operation at CME. He has been Vice Chairman of CETIP S.A. - Mercados Organizados since April 17, 2012 and has been its Director since September 12, 2011. He serves as a Director of ICE Benchmark Administration Limited. He has been a Representative Director of The Options Clearing Corporation since March 12, 2014. He serves as a Director of National Futures Association (Inc.) and The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation. He serves as a Director of Maroon Holding LLC, the governing Board of MERSCORP Holdings, Inc. He serves as a Member of Advisory Board at Vernon & Park Capital, L.P. He serves as a Member of the Advisory Committee of Bourse Partners II, L.P. Mr. Goone holds a B.S. degree in Accountancy from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 1986.
