How flexible is your work schedule at Intuit?
Very flexible as long as you are there for the first meeting of the day and the last. Some days that will mean 8-6pm, other days it will be 11-3pm.
Its pretty flexible. We dont have to think about working from office or at home or from any other location as long as we deliver on the projects.
How's the feedback proccess at Intuit?
Manners don't have upward feedback from direct reports, which can be an issue if you don't have a particularly good manager
Pretty good. Continuous feedback is the goal
How difficult is it to maintain a social life while in your job at Intuit?
Not impossible but not easy when you are working 60hrs a week.

The worst in the industry - the more years someone has worked there = their level of incompetence. Almost government level idiots

What's the vibe like in the Design dept at Intuit? How many hours are you working?
50-60hrs per week
Great. There are work spikes but overall it’s a good balance
What's the Design team like at Intuit?
Great people, horrible leadership (Director and above).
Great. Design really has a seat at the table at Intuit. UX is what has helped Intuit reinvigorate it’s busi. If there is a downside to this it’s that many stakeholders want to be involved in the process so designers need to productively channel that interest.
What's the pay like for Marketing roles at Intuit?
Very good! It's not the top in the market but total benefits besides just pay are generous, including 401K match, stock compensation, etc.
I'm extremely happy with my base and the retention and stock benefits.
What's the vibe like in the Marketing dept at Intuit? How many hours are you working?
busy and the hour flex from 30 -60
It depends on the team. My old team was 40 hours and extremely flexible. My new team sometimes it feels like I live there, but it's a super high impact project so that makes it worth it. No one is forcing me to do it, we are all just super passionate!
What's the Marketing team like at Intuit?
for the most part Talented and smart

What are the differences between maternity and paternity leave at Intuit?
Maternity is 3 months paid leave, but you can string it together with vacation, sick time, and other government benefits to get almost a year off paid (at least in California, less for other states). Paternity used to be 2 weeks for Dads, now it is the same as paid Maternity leave (3 months) but you usually cannot get any government additions.

What are the most important soft skills to be successful at Intuit?
It's important to be very very team-oriented and connected with other people in the organization. Having good relationships with coworkers can really help unblock things otherwise would take a long time to get done.
What kind of interview questions do they ask when hiring someone in the Product department at Intuit?
They use a process called A4A. You’re required to prepare a brief presentation on a product and your strategy for it.
What is the best perk or benefit that Intuit offers?
ESPP plan. You can opt in to it twice a year. It’s a great way to grow financially without a lot of work.
