Generally very good, however, as the business has accelerated in growth and a premium is placed on velocity, there is more work than often can be done in a standard business day. Evening email work is often a reality. Weekends are mostly work free.

for Dir and above it is pretty much 24/7. For IC's and line managers it is a good work life balance.

Tons. They reimburse for adoption, extended maternity leave, etc.

Horribly, and based solely on politics / focal (visibility for what you can claim is yours).
It's based on whether or not you fit specific skill criteria laid out by management.

I try to eat with coworkers, to form team bonds. We sometimes go out for lunch off campus, if someone has joined the team type of thing, or we shipped something big.

you normally eat with your co-workers but there are frequent celebration (birthday, work anniversary etc) that lunch is brought in... Also most departments have a monthly lunch

QuickBooks is growing fast; TurboTax is dying/having difficulties. Turbo/Mint is neutral to down.
QuickBooks Online is definitely growing the fastest. Mint is having trouble finding a good business model.

How's the vacation policy at Intuit?
Generous (4 weeks / year) until you are Director and above, where it turns to “unlimited” which somehow means way less than 1 week / year.

Stay away from Product Infrastructure. That department is toxic and you will be pulled into senseless politics.
