J Crew does not honor tenure; they raise their starting pay every 2 years and do not give the difference to their current employees. A 5 dollar per hour raise would make me feel better.
Work load far surpasses what is being compensated
There is a huge disparity between front-line associates and comparable corporate levels. The company desperately needs to re-align salaries and benefits packages to retain associates and maintain a competitive market position.
Due to the pandemic, they should consider the changes and not enforce dress code policies that employees can barely afford.
