J. Crew Leadership Employee Reviews

What do you like best about the leadership team?

they are very understanding and kind

They work together as a team.

The team at my store is great, everything else about the company is terrible

They spend way too much time partying.

Innovation and creativity lead to uplifting design

Review from Sales Dept

They keep everybody on their toes. They want their customers to get the products on time so the leadership team is important.

Review from Operations Dept

great had fun working there

Review from Sales Dept

very understanding, funny, easy to talk to

Review from Sales Dept

accessibility to top leadership. Very hands on.

Review from Sales Dept

They take the time to listen to me.

Innovative and next generation thinking that will transform the brand.

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Communication teamwork and leadership in all sectors

Fairness and how to treat Associates.

Review from Sales Dept

communication, treating employees with respect, providing training and leading with professional integrity

Realistic goals, fairness, living by the culture they claim

communication, accountability, and time management

Valuing their team, listening to customers and customer facing employees, CEO should never walk into a store and not talk to the employees. Its so rude.

Training management. They need to get with the times and learn to respect employees. Too many egomaniacs in management.

Treating employees like human beings.

Communication, clarity, maintaining consistency, release of tension and sense of anxiety

Senior leadership spends little to no time on the front line. Leadership is not in sync with the customer's needs, and more importantly, ignorant or unwilling to acknowledge the low morale of their associates.

Get the employees involved not just upper management when making decisions affecting us employees.

Review from Sales Dept

New team is necessary that understands the brand

Hire more people on permanently instead of running though temps

Review from Operations Dept

Leading and engaging the world as it is now vs 1995

They need to focus more on employee retention

Review from Operations Dept

Communication is horrible in the company. Lots of double work that could be simplified with a email or memo.
