Jimmy John's – It was a fairly nice experience overall, not the best job in the world but good for what it is, and better than other opportunities in the same field. Most of my bad experiences involved customers, not coworkers. Management took my side in all bad experiences instead of throwing me under the bus. | Comparably

What do you like best about the leadership team?

They really seem to care about the people under them

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

You are able to act like a human being around customers.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

I was just part time so I didn't get benefits but stock options for part timers like starbucks has would've been a plus

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

JJ's is just a bit too stingy in certain areas. They also get very little night business outside of bar areas. They should improve their targeted marketing and add certain quality of life enhancements to stores to entice customers (Napkin dispensers, TV's, Etc.)

What are some of the best things about your team?

Everyone was down to earth and cared about the safety of those around them. Except for two employees, I liked everyone on the team, and one of the two I disliked was quickly fired for things other companies would not have fired them for.

What did you like most about the interview process?

The interview came about because of a funny incident which occurred before I worked there, and the manager was very casual and gave me lots of leeway about how quickly I needed certain papers and I never felt forced to take the process overtly seriously.
