THey are hard working and smile a lot.

What did you like most about the interview process?

Casual and laid back but direct.

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Treating their labor force like an investment not a cost.

What makes you most happy at work?

Not being fired for making too much money. Which, by the way, is still far less than the average American household, but by KFC standards, any wages over $40,000 per year puts you on the chopping block.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

At the restaurant level, we all expect the best of each other but also know mistakes happen. Above restaurant, upper management has no clue how to treat people and makes everyday feel like it could be your last.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

KFC consistently pressures restaurant managers to cut the hours of the restaurants' highest paid employees. At the same time, KFC pressures District Managers (Area Coaches) into lowering the district's labor costs which often results in turning over their higher paid managers.
