This company doesn't care about kids and doesn't care about it's employees. A lot of the curriculum doesn't make any sense for the ages they want you to teach. It's abundantly clear that the people in charge of this company have never been around children.
What did you like most about the interview process?
I enjoyed the in-class interview so I knew what I was in for.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Decisions are made to benifit the company's income at the detriment of the students and staff.
What are some of the best things about your team?
We all care about eachother and support eachother. We really are a family and have brought down some horrid managers in the past with our own solidarity.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I make minimum wage when I know for a fact that each of my students (there are ten) bring in over $300/week meaning that I make less than 1 of my kids pays to be there.
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
We need to be compensated more and listened to. The company should put more effort in elevating the voices of the people actually with the children every day, instead of making decisions ot pad their bottom line.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
There is no communication, and the people in charge of my center frequently lie to our faces but don't even have their stories straight. We hear tons of excuses and lies about the decisions that are made by them. They blame everyone they can for everything and never take responsibility.
