Poor pay leads to turnover. no training for new staff causing care quality to suffer as well as ruining the worker's experience.... causing turnover.

director was very communicative, sent lots of emails

none of them get a long and their boss wont step in
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
Many of my coworkers are new because of the extreme turnover rate. they are hired in desperation and most do not care to work with children so they are unhelpful
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
parents arent seen the mishandling of their children because of covid restricting access to the building, but if they saw, i know theyd pull their kids out in a heart beat
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
My coworkers and I are paid less than teens in the food industry. Even with college education in ECE. this company "pays" in benefits, but discounts and deals dont pay my bills or compensate the hard work of caring for children without support or training.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
most positive thing is how hard our Director tries to keep things together even without support from the higher ups. she can only do so much on her own. low pay means low quality employees and she cant help that. but she is appreciative of the hard work i put in.
