I am in the Infant room, and I love my babies and there families. I love watching the babies grow and seeing them take their first steps, say words or even try new foods. However, i do think we are under appreciated and we should be getting paid more than we are.
What makes you most happy at work?
Seeing the children, or when they smile when they see me.
What are some of the best things about your team?
My two co teachers in the infant room are amazing! We have a short hand with each other, and run the room like a well oiled machine
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I don't think the amount of work, time, love and care we give to our kids matches what we are paid. If higher up is makjng $50,000- $700,000, Lead and Assistant teachers should make a liveable amount if money
