I worked as a Center Director in Ft collins CO. They pay teachers the bare minimum and when a teacher is ECT qualified within 3 months they won't give them raises. We were always short staffed. Upon leaving they didn't terminate me in time so now I owe them last paycheck and won't pay out PTO!

Friendly teachers and some worked hard
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
Better pay for teachers to retain them. We weren't offering competitive pay for them to stay long term
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Under vauled by thinking we need to work 12 hour days because we are salary and we are short staffed
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Domino effect high turn over with teachers and directors > not happy families = high turn over for families leaving and it's a cycle
