Supporting their staff; making clear job requirements- holding ALL staff accountable. Compensating the ones who always go above and beyond.

You have a huge responsibility in caring for and educating someone's child. There is also a lot required, should be compensated accordingly.
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
The overall attitudes. Staff need to feel like they can count on maagement to support them, and that they can come to them for help.
