Everyday culture of the company is good. Colleagues and managers are usually great. Some policies could be inflexible (e.g. work from home) Benefits leave much to be desired.
What makes you most happy at work?
Solving problems creatively. I enjoy learning from others too.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
They seem to be innovative which is important for a technology company.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Casual environment. Cordial colleagues. Many are always willing to help out.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Small teams thus manager is able to provide a lot of 1-1 interaction. However, one side effect of that is deeper hierarchy which is not ideal.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I do not feel the benefits are at par with the industry. Definitely missing RRSP matching. Benefits are advantageous to single persons and young families.
